I had no idea such a gadget existed. I sit at work at wait, wait, wait for my computer to email files to my MAC account, or wait for my MAC idisk to sync (and usually it doesn't), as I am someone who is always transferring files so that I can work at home.
Then one day, one of my employees came in to work and asked me if she could print out some files. I told her, we have a MAC, it won't take a diskette- do you have it on CD? "No, she said- it's on here". And she held up a tiny little thing on her keychain. "What?" I asked, bewildered... "It's a tiny hard drive. I just need to plug it in the the back of your computer".
Amazed, we did. And she swiftly printed out the files and ejected her tiny gizmo.
It was months later before I bought my first USB drive. A tiny pink and green monster with ears that I carry to and from work in my purse, packed with info. The thing holds 4 GB and cost $14.99 at Staples. That's a lot of data for something so tiny.
If you didn't know these cuties existed, this is your first official Aromaleigh "Techie" post.
They come in all kinds of characters and themes. Check it out... this is just the tiny tip of the iceberg. If you can think it up, there's a USB flash drive that looks like it. Even lipstick.
